The Chinggis Khaan Statue Complex is one of Mongolia’s most iconic landmarks. Located about 54 km east of Ulaanbaatar, near the Tuul River in Tsonjin Boldog, this massive equestrian statue of Genghis Khan (Chinggis Khaan) is the largest of its kind in the world. Key Facts: Height: 40 meters (131 feet), including the base. Material: Made of 250 tons of stainless steel, giving it a shining silver appearance. Base Structure: The statue stands on a 10-meter-high museum complex, designed to resemble a Mongolian warrior’s boot.
